March 24, 2020 - 4:00pm

City crews were salting and sanding priority streets through the night and today to prevent icing during the spring snow fall. This afternoon and tonight the focus is to clear as much of the nearly 4 centimetres of snow from busiest streets, beginning with Circle Drive, Idylwyld Drive, College Drive, 22nd Street, College Drive and 8th Street.

Melting over the next few days presents a risk for ice forming as temperatures drop on streets and sidewalks. Drivers and sidewalk users should use caution.
