For immediate release: January 27, 2020 - 2:13pm
CF20-993

The City reminds property owners that Monday, February 3, 2020 is the last day to file a formal assessment appeal. The 2020 Property Assessment Roll has been open for public inspection since January 2, 2020.

If you have questions about your property's assessment, tax class, or exemption status, please contact Assessment & Valuation at 306-975-3227.  Most assessment-related inquiries can be resolved by speaking with an assessor prior to filing a formal appeal with required fees.

The City's online Property Assessment & Tax Tool is also helpful, you can view information on the factors used to assess your property.

If you choose to file a formal appeal with the City’s Board of Revision, information on the appeal process is located on the back of your Assessment Notice and also on the City’s website saskatoon.ca/assessment. Property owners can file a formal appeal with the Board of Revision regarding the valuation, classification or content of your property’s assessment.

Your Notice of Assessment Appeal form and accompanying fee must be received during the 30-Day Customer Review Period which ends Monday, February 3, 2020.

Mail or deliver your Assessment Appeal and accompanying fee to:
