 COVID-19 Response for Saskatoon Residents

On March 19, 2020, the City decided to close public access to City Hall and all City buildings, including fire stations, leisure facilities, attractions and Saskatoon Public Library locations. While we are closed to the public, our business operations continue to ensure core services for our residents as much as possible. Public transit currently remains operational.

The Fine Print (*, **, ***)

*All youth under 16 years of age must complete a Youth Weight Training Consultation or program in order to use any of the weight rooms (even when on a family plan).

**Children under the age of 6 must be supervised by an adult or responsible youth at all times. To help preschool age children stay safe in and around the water, the City requires that all participants comply with the following policy: "For every two preschoolers under the age of 6, there must be one adult or responsible youth (16 years or older) within arm's length, supervising the preschoolers' water play and activity."  The best life preserver for your child is YOU!  Infants and toddlers participating in water play must wear an appropriate swim diaper.

***Family is defined as a group up to seven individuals with a maximum of two adults.

Facility Rentals

Champions are made at this high-performance athletic centre. National highland dance, city-wide track and field meets, national fencing competitions, cheerleading and wrestling championships have all been hosted here. The main area can accommodate up to 3,500 people and features a six-lane track with retractable bleachers and sport courts. The courts are also available for rental and are used for a variety of sports including tennis, badminton, pickleball, basketball and soccer.

Upstairs is the sought-after fitness studio with dance sprung floor, a large training area with weight and carido matchines and meeting rooms.
